The Primary Program admits children from 2 through 6 years of age, and all age groups are mixed in the classroom. For the youngest children, the program is three years in duration.

Parents are strongly urged to allow their children to complete the three-year cycle through their kindergarten year in order to receive maximum benefit from the Montessori Experience.

All children attend school from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday, from September to June. Four and five year old children have advanced Montessori studies until 3:00 p.m. In consideration of working parents, the school offers extended day hours - 8:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
